Steve Witmer

Steve's teenage years were spent in the rugged ranchlands of Northern British Columbia. After marrying Becky in 1975, they embarked on a 15-month “honeymoon” in a small log cabin in the Canadian Rockies, surrounded by majestic mountains and untouched wilderness. The couple then ventured into a variety of vocations, including farming, logging, trapping, tree planting, firefighting, carpentry, and first aid.

In their late twenties, they joined Youth With A Mission with their two young children, Heather and Shannon, and had the opportunity to serve alongside Wally and Norma Wenge at Gleanings for the Hungry.
